Time Goes On....

Well another birthday has come and gone. Where has all the time gone? I guess that's the question of the day. This year Everett and I decided to take advantage of the long weekend and head out of town for some relaxation. It didn't turn out quiet as we had planned but I enjoyed it all the same, anytime away is a luxury for us.

This year we've spent some time reflecting on our lives and our goals, on our families and all the things that are important to us and we've learned to take time out of our busy lives and acknowledge all that we have been blessed with as far as family goes. Celebrating a birthday is difficult when others in our family are suffering so much, our thoughts kept coming back to them and the realization that we may not have them in our lives much longer. It draws us closer to one another and it really is amazing to see the entire family pull together to help out, even if it is only to offer a shoulder or a hug.

The hardest part of losing a loved one is the fact that Time Goes On...without them....

Well it was great to hear from all my family and friends with birthday wishes, I am very grateful for them all.

Last year I ended my Birthday Blog with;

So Happy Birthday ME…. I feel great, I have great health which equals great wealth, and I have an awesome family and a great job with great friends and couldn’t possibly ask for more. All the things that are important are laid out before me every day and I love my life.

So with our glasses lifted and no hate in my heart, here’s to another great year ahead with many more to follow….
